- Compare the original and enhanced versions before downloading.
- Use higher JPG or WebP quality when visual detail is more important than file size.
Image Enhancer FAQ
What is an image enhancer?
An image enhancer adjusts image properties such as brightness,
contrast, saturation and sharpness to improve its appearance.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. This tool processes your selected image directly in your browser.
Is this an AI image enhancer?
No. This version uses browser-based image processing rather than a
machine-learning enhancement model.
What does Auto Enhance do?
Auto Enhance analyzes the image's average brightness and applies
moderate brightness, contrast, saturation and sharpening adjustments.
Is sharpening real?
Yes. Sharpness is applied to actual image pixels using convolution,
so the downloaded result contains the sharpening effect.
Does 2× Resize improve image detail?
It increases pixel dimensions using browser interpolation, but it
cannot recreate image detail that was never present in the original.
Can enhancement fix a severely blurry image?
Sharpening can improve edge clarity, but it cannot fully recover
detail that was never captured in the original image.
Why can the enhanced file be larger?
File size depends on output dimensions, format, quality and image
complexity. Higher quality or a 2× resized image can be larger.
Can I enhance images on mobile?
Yes. The tool is designed for compatible desktop, tablet and mobile browsers.
